Reducing microbubbles from HOB skimmer

Hey all,

I have a CPR bakpak HOB skimmer that, after much trial and error, I've finally got pulling out a decent amount of dark skimmate, however, it also spills microbubbles into the tank. I have a small dense sponge on the overflow that limits the bubbles quite a bit, but there are still more than I would like and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions for an easy fix.

Simple solution....add a sump/fuge below and hang it off onend. :wink:

Any other ideas? The sump idea, while a good one, is not practical at this time.
