I found red slim algae growing in my refugium, but none in my tank. Is that normal? if not, how do I prevent it from growing? My nitrate is 0, and phosphate is very low as well. Anyone have any ideas?
yes this is common due to the fact that often times there is very little flow in the refugium to keep detritus from build up. If you add a small powerhead into the refugium it should take care of it.
