Hello all,

I am fairly new to this society and I enjoy it already. I recently started my RSM 34G about 2 Months ago. I swapped everything from my 29G into my RSM. I will be using this thread to keep a build log on my RSM. I will post pictures ASAP :mrgreen: . One question I do have is this, what size koralia would you guys recommend putting in there? Right now I have a koralia 1. Thanks in advance.
 
As far as what type of flow you want in a tank that size it would depend on what types of corals you plan to keep. BB, or sand? LPS, softies, or SPS?

As you cycle the tank see what dead spots are, where they are and just experiment with it. If the K1 is doing you well, you might not need to add more then that.
 
For a mixed reef I might suggest at least two K1's or a 1 and a 2. Along with the return flow, I 'd set up the three current generators to get a circular flow pattern that ends towards the overflow.
 
On a Solana I used a K1 and a K2. When I had a RSM there where two return pumps that I attached locline to. If the new ones on have one return pump then I would say go with the K1 and K2 like the last post said.
