Red lobo brain - Where should i put him

[I just bought this new brain and I was wondering if he would do fine anywhere i placed him in the sand. He isnt close to any rocks or anything and the water movement is good enough, not too hard. He is under MH and he opened up pretty good today. I have him leaned a little so I can see him in all his/her spendor. Is this ok?]
 
[I have not heard of any problems with putting a lobo in the sand.

I have my red lobo brain perched on a small column shaped rock which puts it about 16 inches below my VHO lights (Actinic white and Super Actinic). It has been doing fine. I have read that in the wild they usually are on the reef slope getting indirect light. If it looks good and is opening up then you have it in a good spot.
