Red flat worm problem.

I have some red flat worms living on my ricordia. I just noticed them today. I only have one small true perc in my 46 gallon bow front and I plan on geting a fish to eat the worms. I have heard target mandarins eat them and also six line wrasses. Any other fish that eat them also?

My tank has plenty of food for the fish as far as pods go and little critters like that. I ony have one small clown and I was only planning on adding one more fish total anyway. I read the write up on melevs page and it was very informative. I am going to give this flat worm exit a try along with the syphoning.

Glad it helped. Please be sure to siphon out all the ones you can see daily for at least one week if not two. Having someone as spotter helps immensely.

Then when you treat your tank, siphon them out as they die. The sooner they are out, the less toxin they can release into your reef.

A four line wrasse will chow them down without you needing to chemically nuke your tank. Mandarin not even close to the voraciousness of the 4 line wrasse. I always look for natures way to solve the problem, and if all else fails then and only then resort to some additive.
