Really stupid question -- Hydor heater

Ok...so I have this Hydor 300W heater and I went to install it today. Has anyone put one of these in? The instructions leave a bit to be desired and I cannot imagine that the way I did it made a seal. I'm getting ready to test it, but I wanted to see if anyone could save me a mess.

All I did was push the tubing on as far as possible and then attempted to screw the end "screws" as tight as possible. Doesn't seem like the "screws" have any hold on the tubing what so ever!?!?!? Ideas? Thanks; the link for the heater is below...

I think the way it works is that you screw the blue fittings as close the heater as possible, then insert the tubing fully, then unscrew the blue fittings until then grip against the tubing.

You might tug strongly to see if you did it right. It looks a lot like how Eheim pumps connect to flexible tubing.

Thanks Marc. That is what I thought, I just wasn't sure if it looked right.

Thanks again; Happy New Year!
