RBTA and shrooms

I just noticed a small group of red shrooms that have popped up just underneth the BTA. Who is going to win this battle? The reason I was looking for something is because a few of sweepers of the anemone have now shunk and turned to brownish/black. Should I try and move the anemone or the cut back the shrooms and just keep cut them back.

Water parameters are fine. Lights are 2X250MH and 260W of PC on a 120G. The BTA is at the bottom of the tank about 50/50 in the light and the shade. I was thinking of just shading that part of the tank of light and letting the BTA move on it's own.

Hrmm.. I had a GBTA lay a smack down on some shrooms, and other shrooms above it that cohabitated with it without issue.

Neither way, I would hate to loose one. Without tearing the rocks out, how can you get a BTA to move? I would love to see him/her out front with the pink clown.

If possible, change the flow around him.. don't have one blowing directly on it, but a change will often get them to move.

I think Scott hit it pretty good aboout the flow. You could also try shading it. Physically moving probably wont do much good. An anemone is going to go wherever it is happiest with regards to water flow and light.

Just remember if you are going to try to get it to move that you need to protect it from any fast flowing drains or powerhead inputs. They seem to gravitate toward powerheads, and to their demise if not protected.
