I really can't stay home from work to be able to let their support log in to my PC. That is just not practical. I'm becoming convince that this is a product intended for the commercial aquarium companies. They have people that can be trained by phone and use 9-5 telephone support. Hobbyist need written or network available documentation as well as support on weekends and in the evening. This looks like very well made hardware. I just may have gotten advice from the LFS based on their success and not on their customers success.
I did make some progress by leaving an email on their support account. I was able to stop the random beeping by turning off the manual controls. Here is what I received from the company:
Al,
Per your post on our forum, your Radions are not failing in anyway. The beeping you are experiencing is totally normal, and is caused when the buttons are being pressed. If your cause if you are not pressing the buttons they are simply being interfered with. The buttons on top are extremely sensitiveness, things like metal, dust or being in an enclosed canopy can cause your Radions to start beeping. To disable them, please follow these steps:
1. Ensure all Radions are powered on
2. Start the Connection Manager
3. Open EcoSmart Live
4. Connect one Radion via USB
5. Right click the Connection Manager
6. Select "All Radions"
7. Then select "Disbale Radion Buttons"
8. Finally select "Program All" in EcoSmart Live to save your changes
