radion XR15 pro (need help)

I have a 30 gallon innovative marine tank with the Radion XR15 pro and i need help for the best growth for my corals? whats the best layout and color percentage to set my lights too? I just dont want to fry my corals with too much light! Thank you guys =]

I would put the fixture at 10" off the water and start it up in acclimation mode. It will gradually ramp up over the next few weeks. Don't run it more than 9 hours a day.

You'll need to set up a aquarium profile, add the radion and/or vortech pump and then set the options you like on the left side of the screen, then modify your choices on the rights. Then save and let it upload to your device(s).

Just FYI - I have mine running at 60% @ 9.5" above water line. It was at 80% and bleached my corals. I was losing corals, until I turned it down, my corals began to recover. Caution:They are very strong! I would not recommend anything over 75% unless it is very high. 15"+

Override time? What do you mean?

Here's my LED article, just published today. http://www.reefaddicts.com/content.php/414-LED-lights-that-make-corals-pop-with-color

Ecosmart Live is software driven (app or browser) with an online account. Do you have Reeflink? Or are you running a USB wire from your computer to the light? When you set up the light schedule, the option to "Enable Lunar Mode" will be visible above the Save button, last I checked.

yes i have reef link and its all setup and i have my lights powered at 50% and 4 weeks acclimation period to 60% and i just want to make sure that im doing everything right for my reef and not frying them or bleaching them out!

Did you read the article I linked you to? That seems to match exactly what you are concerned about.

Mine is 24" tall, but there is 2" of empty space at the top plus the 2" sandbed. So 20" of water to the substrate. Just posted a video of the anemone cube yesterday.

Wow! That's awesome man beautiful tank! I was wondering be my light is 24 inches from the sand bed and I have my lights powered at 70% on the high growith schedule full spectrum!

You might want to run them at less intensity, or raise them up. How tall is the water (surface to substrate) and how far off the surface is the light?
