My pump just stopped working today for some unknown reason. Anyone know a fix. I have taken it apart and cleaned it w/o success. For some reason I can even turn the impeller around all the way by hand, is this normal for them?

This happens when there is calcium build up over time. How long has it been running?
As Scott says soaking in vingar should do the trick. If this is the case in order to prevent in the future you should take it offline and clean to prevent the build up.
