Question about LEDs for a Nano Cube

I just bought a 28 gallon Nano cube used. I have come to find out that the HQI Metal Halide light runs the water temp pretty high. So i am looking to retrofit it with something that won't cause these problems. Does anyone know if the Nano Cube 24 Gallon lid is the same as the 28 Gallon lid?
I want to buy this kit as it looks pretty easy to install, but don't know if it will be sufficient enough to grow anything or if it will even fit. any help would be great.

That's essentially the same thing I'm doing but with a 14g BioCube (and only 18 LEDs instead of 24). It should be enough light to grow about whatever you want.

No idea if the 24g and 28g lids would interchange, though.
