Question about CO2

It has been just over a year now that I started my GEO calcium reactor and was wondering how long on average will a 10 lb canister of CO2 will last? I was expecting it to be empty by now. I am using a PH controller to regulate the amount of CO2 being used. It is my understanding that the gauges on the CO2 tank will drop to zero when it runs out and you will not see a slow decline in pressure, is this true?

I've been using a Ca reactor for over 2 years on my 72G tank, and the main pressure gauge is only down by 1/3. My bubble rate is at about 10 every 20 seconds.

I've been running mine for about 9 months now and the guage hasn't moved a bit.

You generally do not see a gradual decline. Just suddently you will be out
or at least that is how it works when dispensing beer

I use a 5lb tank about every six months.
