Queen Anthias

I have 3 new Queen Anthias that I am having trouble getting to eat.

I currently feed a mix of brine, squid, emerald entree, mysis, & marine cuisine. I have started also feeding live brine since adding these fish.

I read up on them before and they are supposed to enjoy the live brine, and LFS told me the ones they keep eat frozen foods like I am feeding.

Anyone have any good ideas for a food they will eat?

How long were they in the fist store and did you see them eat while there. It could be the way that they were caught (poisoned) and if that was the case they will not eat. As you may know sometimes just enough is used to stun them in order to make them easier to catch in the wild. This causes damage to their insides and they will not eat. This happened to us a few years ago and they just staved to death. Hope that you have better luck. By the way we tried everything even seeing the other fish eat right in front of them.

Not saying that this is the case here but it is possible.

try cyclops fish food (pronounced cyclo peze)

anthais are plankton eaters for the most part

once they begin eating this, they will probably move on to brine or other types of food... but many often don't go from the beginning.
