Protein Skimmer Sponge

A

Alicia

Does anyone know where I can buy a sponge to attach to the outlet of my protein skimmer to reduce the microbubbles in my aquarium?

Thanks!

The outlet is 1" and no, petsmart and petco don't have anything. If you know of any LFS that have it that would be helpful. I really don't feel like driving all over the metroplex for a little filter sponge.

Thanks!

Go to HD/Lowes and look in the pond section. Beckett is a brand name of pump. They also sell the replacement parts/prefileters..etc.
I bought a package(2ea). of replacement prefilter sponges for 7.99. They are large enough to fit over 1" plumbing. I bought them for a hang-on overflow for my freshwater tank.
