Protein skimmer help...

So I think I am ready to start running my protein skimmer but the recirculation pump was gone when I got it and im not sure what kind I should be looking for. Here are some pictures if anyone thinks they know let me know.

Honestly I have never used a skimmer before and im not even sure what brand this is.
 
So a friend of mine told me that I need a needle wheel water pump or something like that... (for the recirc) Now just to find the right one. I believe the skimmer is actually a euro reef also. Maybe I would be better off replacing the whole thing.
