Pressure Locking Baffles w/ EPDM - Good, Bad, or Ugly?

Anybody try this pressure locking baffles for a sump using EPDM weatherstripping?

I am thinking about trying this, but wanted to see if anyone had any positive or negative experiences with this.

Been using this method for about 1.5 years now, no complaints...
