Premixed Salt Water

Sorry, I am new to this hobby and would like to buy some instant premixed salt water. I am just starting a 28 Gallon Nano Cube so I don't want to buy an RO unit or mix the salt myself. I will just buy containers to keep the RO and Salt Water in for changes. Does anyone know a LFS in the North Fort Worth area that I can buy salt water for a reasonable price? I found this one place that was selling RO for .50 cents a gallon and $1 a gallon for salt water.

I did do some search on this forum but couldn't find any comments about a LFS close to me.

Thanks.

The fish place by ridgmar mall is a nice place too. .60 for fresh ro .90 for sw and free water every 10g bought. Talk with gerry or lorri

Thanks for the comments. Mid-Cities Aquarium seems to be the closest to my house and they sell their salt water for $1/gallon.

Mid cities is good too. They deliver 150 gal to me every other week. Custom mix with my prefered salt brand and prefered salinity.

Not trying to hijack you're thread but, how long can you safely store salt water without it degrading? I keep mine in the 5g jugs and get it from DNA. sometimes I might have it on hand for up to three weeks.

I have never added it directly to my tank after sitting for 3 weeks, but I have added it into the trash can with the new batch of water that I was making. I would think that as long as it hasn't had much evaporation, which would change the salinity, and that you stirred it up with a power head to get fresh O2 in it, then it would be fine.

And sorry for contributing to the hijacker.
