Powerheads

I hve a 75 gallon sps/lps reef tank with two six hundred gallon per hour powerheads. I need mor flow and an mp40 would be great but the price tag is high. Would like to have something unobtrusive in the rear corners. Mp40, Koralia 4, or maxi jet modified? Give me your experiences with these please.

in one tank i use only mp40's and in one tank i use only koralia 3's, both have mixed reef setup with sps/lps/softies and they have been doing fine for some time. its really more of a visual thing and a choice on how you want your flow to be...ie alternating or steady. the mp's are nice because they have a controller and can change flow rates continuously whereas the koralias are nice because of the flow to cost you get. koralias are a little more obtrusive but they do the job.

you might want to look at tunzes. you can direct them and its controllable if you get the controllable models. they are linkable but you have to buy a separate controller. i was going to get these but i got the vortech mp10 at such a good price so i decided on the vortechs
