Power heads - continuously on?

I have two Tunze Turbelle Nano Stream 6045 in my 75gal and both are not controllable however, they are hooked up to the Apex. I'm trying to replicate the "wave" effect. They are on for 5 mins each, at different times.

Now, when either one comes on, it creates a lot of bubbles and noise, placing stress onto the motors. Should I keep what I am doing or can they both be on continuous at the same time?

No. Those pumps aren't built to do that. I read online that they can start in reverse so the chatter and bubbles you see/hear are it righting it self.
 
Okay, so I'm guessing replicating the wave effect isn't that important then. Thanks for the response, I'll just keep them both on all the time.
