Powder Brown tank...ICK

Ok guys I've been waiting to post this. About 3 weeks ago I purchased a pretty good size Brown powder Tang and two days later he got Ick bad!!! I fed him and he never lost his appetite. No other fish were affected. Now he's cured and life is good.

Makes me wonder about Ick, its not as critical as most think from my expierences with it. My hippo tang a while back in a different tank did the exact same thing....cured its self...

I might be wrong but ick has multiple stages, where it's harmless when it's visible on the fish, then goes dormant, and then comes and back and kills it, i'm sure someone can clarify it but even if it's not visible on the fish i'm pretty sure it's still there.. don't know I haven't purchased a fish in 4 years, not something I have to deal with.

Yeap I have recently changed tanks and my hippo aka - King of Ich it seems has spotted up. From what i read it is like herpes it will lay dormant and maybe come back. Agreed, keep the stress level down and you may never seem them again.
