I'm in the process of redoing an older 75 gal DAS tank. I've removed the built in filtration system and have drilled 2 holes in the bottom to make it a "reef ready" tank. 3/4" for return and 1" for drain.
My question is, on the return, I'm going to use loc-line from the end of the 3/4" pvc, over the overflow, into the tank. The tank is 16" front to back and 25" tall. I want to split the return between the front of the tank and the back of the tank. Should I split to 2 - 3/4" lines or reduce it down to 2 - 1/2 lines?

Forgot to add, I'm using an Eheim 1262 return pump
