Please ID these?

This crab was under a rock.

This growth is all over a recently purchased LR that has a large mushroom ricordia. There are a lot of (my guess?) spaghetti looking worms all over it also.

Is this slimey gel-like white substance bad or good? There are several black circles also and yellow areas (shown in picture) . If these are bad should I remove the rock?

My pictures aren't very good...sorry

Thank you for that info, you are right, I must have purchased a TBS rock!

I have several of the organisms described on the website.

The crab was a gorilla crab (bad crab), good thing I got him out.

The yellow, white and black are sponges. I also have many small feather dusters and spaghetti worms.

I guess I will just have to keep on the lookout for the gorilla crabs and possible mantis shrimp.

Do you think I should go hunting and reek havoc on my aquascape?

Thank you,

I will try this tonight and post the results (if there are any) of my night viewing.

My husband has a small mag light and said a bottle cap from a diet coke fits perfect over lense for red.

lower paid helicopter pilot...lol

No I didn't. Infact I am a little worried because I didn't see any bugs either.

I don't know if a actually got the crab yesterday bc when I opened it, it was sort of hollow. It may have been the molt.

I Looked again last night and found plenty of bugs and my two peppermint shrimp.

No sign of the bad little gorilla crab.

Everything looks okay, no signs of nipped or stressed corals.

Any suggestions on how to get him to show himself?
