Plate coral splitting?!

So as I was feeding the other night, I came back to take a look at things and I noticed what appears to be a 2nd mouth on my plate coral. Not sure exactly how all that works with it being hard? My St Thomas mushroom just split for the 1st time I noticed last night. All my parameters are doing well and in check, just thought it crazy all this splitting seems to be going down at once! :) anyone else had a plate split?

I don't think it's splitting I think they just have multiple mouths. I have a plate with about four different mouths across the top

Diaseris plate corals are the ones that frag themselves. Fungia plates don't naturally. They can be fragged and reproduce anthocauli (baby plates)
