Pink Tail Trigger ---Stuck!

Not sure if this is an emergency but I need some quick advice.

A few days ago i wanted to improve the flow and take out a few pieces of rock due to dead spots in the back. There were some pretty heavy pieces. Previously to moving any rock, i notice my clown with ick so i put him in QT. Then i notice the trigger looking spotty and I'm thinking about treating him but know he is a pretty tough little guy. So I moved the rock with minimal disturbance. Later that night I noticed the trigger wasnt in front bugging me for food. Went to bed and went to work the next day. The kids called me to say they hadn't seen the trigger so I figured he was just hiding because he is pretty much a chicken. Came home and no trigger. Next morning no trigger and now I'm worried he is dead.

So today I think I see his fin in the back looking onimously like it is not moving. I go in and move some rock and low and behold he comes darting out. Looking scared and sluggish and I notice something on his side so I want to put him in QT and observe him. I manage to net him easily which is very strange. I put him in the QT and it looks like he has sludge on his side. No missing scales but his top and bottom dorsal fins are missing the black outline. He did eat some mysis and gobbled a few one inch pieces of nori.

Here is the question finally....the QT was treated for ick yesterday for the clown and today I did a 25% water change before I found the trigger tonight. Will that ick treatment be too hard on him and should I do a big water change in the QT or leave it alone? Since he does have some fin tears can I metafix with the ick treatment or just let him heal and give vitamins?

I don't want to do too many changes but I don't want the ick treatment to make him worse.

It's Kordon Rid Ick Plus. Since he's in the qt and a massive pooper so I'll need to do daily water changes anyway. I'll stop the ick treatment for a few days and watch the clown. The clown does seem happy to have a buddy now instead of being in solitary confinement.

I don't see any missing scales but like sludge or detrious is pressed onto him. I'll watch him today and see. He is sulking in a pvc pipe right now but breathing ok and eating. I love that guy! Such a neat personality.

Thanks for the advice!!
