Pink table with blue tips

[I was very happy to see the blue tips on this pink table. Alas, this picture did not capture the blue tips.

[Gosh, Marc. I bought this pink table acro more than 2 years ago from Flying Fish Express. I almost lost it due to hair algae. I didn't know what I was doing back then - I just bought some sps because I was keeping clams. I am proud that some coral survive and do fairly well. My blue table is nice, but the pink table just surprises me with blue tips. So I'm happy. Anyway - my point is that I did not just buy this coral. :)

Nathan - your efflo is doing great. You should see the polyps extension at night. It's growing very well and already a purple border on the coral. But the coral itself is still orange/tan color. I'm still waiting on the green polyps one of these days. I'll post a picture when and if I am lucky to get a good shot. I have enough crapy digital pictures that I don't care to post. Maybe in a month or so Travis will be free to give me lesson on taking good pictures.]

[I sure don't remember it. If you decide at some point to frag a piece, please don't let me miss out that time. The tiny blue-tipped table frag you gave me is doing its thing very very quietly.

[Thats funny it looks green to me. :wwww:]

[All my corals are green. This is due to the miracle grow in my phytoplankton. I'm guessing as it grows larger, I'll get light blue tips later. For now, the little guy has a lot of growing to do.]

[MaRC,
did you say MIRACLEGROW in your phyto? Like the plant food that you use for tomatoes? If that is giving your coral a green color, why not switch to a non-dyed liquid fertilizer. If you know what is in the miraclegrow to make the phyto tick, i would guess nitrogen, maybe i could suggest a non dyed fert. for you.]

[Green is an easy way to remember the money I sink into this hobby. Or perhaps you guys are simply green with envy of my green corals? :D]

[Yep. But I was joking. I do use it for phytoplankton, and feed 4 cups to my tank every other day.]
