Pink Birdsnest Growth??

I am starting to see small white spots on the side of the tall part of my frag. Does it grow out of the side like that or mostly just split at the ends? Here is a pic of it. You can see the growth on the tips, just wanting to know what the spots on the side are. Thanks everyone.

kuyatwo, you are talking about the white on the sides right? This is my first sps and was hoping it was not stn or rtn.
 
Yeah those white dots on top and sides are where the new tips will be growing

Here is a pic this morning. It kinda looks like it is bleaching down the side. It is white between the polyps. Any ideas??
