Pictures from Fish Gallery in Dallas

I had to drive to Dallas Love Field today, and figured I might as well check out Fish Gallery. I'd not been there in about a year, as it isn't in my neck of the woods. I met Jason and Webster, and talked with the owner as well.

Then I took a bunch of pictures for those of you that may have not seen the store yet. The tanks were clean, well marked and the variety of livestock is noteworthy. I like to take pictures of LFS when I get a chance, and recommend other club members do the same. That way those in remote areas get a better idea of what each store offers.

In no particular order...

This tiny guy was the smallest Longnose Hawkfish I've ever seen. 1.5" long maybe....

This enormous nudibranch shocked me. It is easily 3 to 4" long!

Pillow Starfish. I never heard of it, and it is not reefsafe nor refugium safe. Pretty though.

This one is H. erectus, and absolutely MASSIVE. It is holding onto a fake coral that resembles branching suncoral, assuming such a coral existed.

You should check out Cliff's (Spar) poison dart frog Vivarium, that thing is cool in person.

Cheers!

Exactly why the only SPS I've gotten lately were frags from member's tanks or from Fraggle Reef. I don't know why the prices have become so inflated in the LFS's these days.

I was told prices are negotiable, including on that $400 coral.

Wow, that place looks great! I've never been over there, but I might have to go by someday. Everything looks beautiful.
