Pickling Lime

Anybody seen pickling lime anywhere near downtown Dallas lately? Or far south (Midlothian, Waxahachie, Mansfield, Arlington in a pinch)?

It may be a bit hard to find at this time of year, this is when people stock up for canning and stuff. Also, I read a news report that had said Mrs Wages and a couple of other companies have reported a 50% increase in sales of canning and pickling supplies.

I would call any of the Krogers around where you are and ask them if its in stock or not.
 
I went to about 6-7 grocery stores and finally found it in Garland. I cant remember if it was a Kroger I found it at.
 
if you need some and go to the meetings i have a couple cans

Dave & Dave, I called the big Kroger's at Greenville and Mockingbird, they said they had it. . .they didn't : /

kuyatwo, It's pretty much impossible for me to make meetings, I wish I could though. I live far south with a 2 year old daughter and a wife that's working a late shift at the moment. I appreciate the offer though.

Not for sure, but Kroger might not keep it in stock no more. I found 6 cans for a $1.09 each in the reduce section at the Kroger in Mesquite.
