Phosphates too high....

My phosphates are way too high... 5.0 I did a water change and that helped... I think I am feeding too much... what can I do to keep them low.
 
run a phosban reactor with some type of gfo type media...i use rowaphos with great results. i have also used bulk reef supply's version of phosphate removla with good results
 
I use frozen foods and have been rinsing them with ro/di water for the past 2 months and it has made a big difference in my phosphates.

EXACTLY.....try the natural way first if you have a refugium. Cheato will cure most of it. Make sure you are not over feeding and try turning your return pump off when you feed.
