Phosphate removal

[ok, i got my water tested and everythig was ok, but phosphate was high. is there some way to remove it without waterchange. i though i remeber hearing that thre was like some sort of bag that u can put in sump or whatever that lowers it. (like runnin carbon)

im i crazy or not

(cuz i think i have a bag that does that)]

[I use this one, it helps removing phosphate via skimmer, excellent product. I read somewhere that dripping kalkwasser also lower phosphate ???

[Before I got an RO/DI unit i was running Phosguard.Slide a few tablespoons in a baggie and let it run for a few days, or whatever the instructions are.The fairly large bottle was only $5 as I recall and it had 4 treatmeants that lasted me a month.I drip kalkwasser nightly now and as quangtam7 said its supposed to precipitate the phosphates out.]

[I just put some seachem phosguard in 2 tanks today. I like Seachem products and they claim a small bag (100ml) of it in 30 gallons of water can remove 20meq/l of phosphate. I have no idea how to convert that to ppm, but my test kit maxes at 3.0meq/l so it must be a lot. Will not leech it back they say too. I'll see how it worked next week, claims to take 4 days or so.]
