Phosphate Filters

I have a 29 gal. tank, I do 10% water changes weekly, a lite bio load, only 4 fishes, couple of mushrooms, crabs and snails and seem to have GHA growing like crazy. All the parameters are ok. Has anyone used a phosphate filer? It looks like this will help. Any thoughts or suggestions on which filter. It will have to be a HOB type.
