I got my new Neptune controller all hooked up. So far I love it. It's been running for about 4 days now with temp and Ph.

My questions is when I graph my Ph it looks like I have a swing on average of .33 it goes from a low of about 7.8 at night to a high of 8.17...is this exceptable? I know the high is good, but is the low to low?

To some that might seem drastic, your PH will always drop at night and depends on load in tank as to how low it may go. I have heard a fuge can help some with an opposite lighting cycle than your main tank, but I have had no experience with this. My tank is usually at 7.6 in the morning and 8.1-8.2 in the late evening just before lights go off. I have great growth on all my sps corals. I also keep my temperature around 76-77

my temp has been great with the ACII I have keep my tank around 78 with no chiller just fans. I do have a fuge with a light that stays on 24/7 but it just a small HOB so it's probably not making a difference.

What is your alkalinity?

9.3 DKH / 3.31 meq.L

my Mag an CA levels are a little low though.
Mag 1200
Ca 360

I will start to raise those 2. My Alk appears to be in a good range correct?
