peppermint shrimp

I can't seem to find my peppermint shrimp. I have had him for a few months. He always comes out a feeding time. In my tank I have a singapore angel, yellow tank, yellow tail damsel, Chromis, and a false perc. Any ideas? Thanks
 
Thanks, I will try that. So strange, I can look in my tank and always see him. Do you think any of the fish I listed would eat him? The angel is always hanging out by his spot.
 
Peppermint will act as cleaner shrimp, so the angel may be just beeping the horn looking for the attendant :)
 
Single shrimp are very shy and tend to hide out... it could also be molting or possibly has gone on towards the big shrimp cocktail in the sky due to molt or some other factor. Keeping an eye out at night is the best way to find a stray or missing critter... just look for the beady lil eyes.....
 
i had one in my tank for a long time, until I added a dwarf angel.

Then, he mysteriously disappeared.
 
i think i have lost mine due to my flame hawk but they were together for months before the strange lack of him. On the otherhand my cleaners still come out all day long feeding time or not and the hawk doesnt seem to bother them but they hang out near my bta almost all day.
