Pearly Jawfish

i recently added 2 pearly jawfish into my 28 gallon tank. with 2.5'' sandbed. before you guys freak out with me adding two, just know that they are tiny. they're about 1.5-2'' big so they're okay. They're happy in my tank. my concern is i dont know what other fish to add into the tank. i don't want to add anything that will pick on my jawfish. if you guys have any ideas on what fish to add please share them with me..

thanks, phillip

i wanted to add a tailspot but i heard blennies are aggressive towards fishes that look and have the same shape as them. is it true?

Any of the smaller gobies will be fine. I had one in a 24 with a mated pair of clowns for a few years, then upgraded to a 60. Originally I had two jawfish but during QT one found a tiny opening in the cover and ended up on the floor. Are your jawfish a mated pair? They may be tiny now but they'll get much bigger. Mine's about 3 inches now. They are really great fish.

Hi ET,
Glad to hear you are happy with your new babies. I would say get a pair of bluespot jawfish. Then you can give me your pearly-head jawfish instead. [smilie=rofl.gif]
