My wife and I just got home tonight from a 7-night cruise, and when I went to thaw out some frozen fish food, I found that some of it was not frozen solid. Some had the consistency of a slushy, while the rest was still frozen. I have since moved everything to our freezer in the garage until we can get a new refrigerator.
Should I play it safe and throw out everything, or would it be safe to use, especially the cubes that were still frozen? I'm talking about two flat packs of Rod's Food and Reef Frenzy (both were soft) and various cubes (mysis shrimp, blood worms, etc.). For the record, it's not about the money (the new frig is going to cost a whole lot more!). I just hate to waste it if it's not necessary.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Thx!
