PAR meter Group Buy and discussion

A PAR meter group buy is being organized now, and we need 50 participants nation-wide. If a few of you are interested, please let me know.

I've put all the details on one page to keep it easy to update, and will be letting other clubs know in the next few days.

Saving $100 per meter should be pretty enticing to some of you, I'd bet. Remember, the money will go directly to Apogee, when we have enough buyers.
 
Any electronic device would be tough for the club to own and distribute. Someone could misuse, ruin it and then the club has a broken par meter. I think this type of feedback should be posted elsewhere than in a group buy. Books / Mechanical items are better suited for sharing with members.
 
Contacted whom? Reefcast or Apogee? Please wait until we have all 50 buyers before proceeding, so that you get the 40% discount. If we jump the gun, the offer will be rescinded I'd wager.

Good, just double checking. As you know, not everyone reads closely and someone might read your post and think they should be doing the same. I wanted to squash that thought quickly.

Just wanted to let you guys know the response has been amazing. Over 100 people have contacted Reefcast to get their name on the list. I contacted Apogee to give them the heads up.

The page has been updated on the site with the latest info.
