overstocked?

Would this be too many fish for a 24 gallon nano cube: 1 false percula, 1 green clown goby, 1 royal gramma, 1 sixline wrasse?

Also, do most of you who keep clownfish (true or false perculas) keep them in a pair?

Looks good to me.

As for the clown fish, I have never had a single. For some reason it never ocurred to me that I could only keep one  . I guess I like the way the form and hold their relationship.

One of the books I read said to have 2.5 gallons of water per inch of fish. So it looks good according to the book.

Be careful with that inch per gallon rule. You have to use that information in conjuction with other things we know. A stock 24 gallon nano cube is limited in means of filtration and would make keeping two 4.8" tangs in there a lot of work even though they conform to the 2.5"/gallon rule.

I personally think that if you wanted to, you could add a couple more small fish.

Well, right now I have a false perc and a green clown goby. I'm trying to make a good decision on what other fish to get. I'm wanting to choose between another false perc, a sixline wrasse, and a royal gramma. I am planning on adding any future fish slowly- over the next year.

IMPO - I would skip the Six-line. They like to have a lot of rock work to swim in and out of and they can be quite the A#$-hole, especially in cramped situations.

Thanks for all the replies. Yes, I'm kind of on the fence about the sixline wrass.
I a okay with water changes every other week, but I really don't want to do them more often then that. I am planning on getting some purigen going soon. So far, its just all my LR and the sponges for filtration. I was told not to use the bioballs or carbon, so I took them out before running the tank.
