Ordering Moonlights - 24 vs 3 LED?

I am purchasing from this site:

Seems very reasonably priced. Probably going to get 2 Blue's and 2 Red's.

Question is, over a 180g, will the 24 LED light be way too bright? What exactly is the difference between these 2? Appears that the 3 LED have bigger bulbs while the 24 has lots of small bulbs... but, light intensity wise what is the difference?

I think either way you will be ok. The problem with moonlights is that its hard to judge intensity. I think either one will probably be way more than enough. What do you want the red for?

Red, for an occasional "different" look. I hear you can see a lot more going on at night if you use red. I will still be using blue 99.99% of the time, and on a timer (red will be manual). At $5/ea, these are pretty nice. Hope they work well!
