Orange Tree Gorgonian

Can anyone with this clarify its photosynthesis needs?
LiveAquaria says non-photo
LFS (where i got it) says photosynthetic
2 other random sites said it was and other said it wasnt...

So if anyone has this, can they please clarify?

well i got a 10buck frag yesterday, so i will just put it in my sump with low light and pretty high flow...co-op donation in the future maybe...
 
Feed it - feed it - feed it. I saw a beautiful colony of this coral at Fish Gallery once, and they were offering it frozen (thawed) Cyclop-eeze multiple times a day.
 
This would apply to the red tree gorgonian? Mine opens up its white polyps quite nicely a few times a day. Polyps don't stay open all the time.
