OK, another lighting question

Good morning folks! I currently use PC lighting utilizing 2 x 65w bulbs, one 50/50 and one Super Actinic. The current configuration has the 50/50 bulb over the back of the tank and the actinic is over the front of the tank. I have been noticing accelerated coraline growth on the front glass as well as the front portion of the side glass since getting new bulbs and re-configuring them in this way.

My question is about the lighting likes of coraline. I would much rather the coraline build up on the back glass rather than the front. Does coraline have an affliction for actinic? Should I move the actinic over the back of my tank? Does it really make a difference? This is the first time I have ever thought about it at all and I cant remember past configurations. Anybody have any words of wisdom on this?

I know coraline grows better under softer lights ie VHO PC, does not do as well under MH. Yes it grows under MH but not as much as VHO. MY guess is that yes the K rating of a bulb matters to it also.

Is there that much more growth on the front then back? Is there a chance it just appears to be more because your getting a better look at it?
