odd fish behavior

recently I've noticed some odd fish behavior in my aquarium with my lawn mower blenny and bristletooth tang. my blenny has found a nice spot off at the end of the tank and has started to dig in the sand and hollow out a hole. i thought he was just "claiming" that spot for his own. as i was watching him do this with interest, my tang came over a pooped on him. i chuckled and thought that was funny. well like clock work 5 minutes later he did it again. as i watched for about 20 mins, he consistently did this every 5 or 6 minutes. i caught them on my cell video camera. why do you suppose this is happening? i find it very odd behavior indeed.

Could not keep from laughing, but that is an odd behavior indeed, I have yet to experience this myself.

I know. i couldn't stop laughing the first couple times the tang did it. but after he kept doing it over and over so i started to actually worry about my little blenny. is this some weird fish dominance behavior? it can't possibly be healthy for the blenny. ya think it may be stressed with this odd type of behavior? should i try and block the blenny's spot with a rock and see if he claims another area? maybe the tang will leave him be in another spot? the blenny just looks so sad and depressed. guess i would too if i got literary crapped on every 5 mins. lol!

well the video is only 6 mins long but too big to upload to youtube. but i will be at tomorrow's
meeting if anyone wants to see it. figures i'd have some weird fish problem. lol!

It could be that your tang likes going in the same spot all the time and its just a coincidence that the blenny is there also. I know my Tomini does the same thing. He goes in the same spot multiple times throughout the day and it just piles up in the corner.
