[OM has come out with new versions of both the 4 and 8 ways. they have apparently been out a little while but I just noticed.
Both have been changed to a magnetic drive (like the squirt is) instead of a shaft drive. The previous designs were built so that the shaft would snap if there was something causing the cylinder to stick. Then the shaft had to be replaced. Now if it sticks it just needs to be opened and cleaned out.
The 8 way body has been changed to the same body as the 4way. Should provide for a little smaller footprint. Didn't change any of the other stats on it I don't believe.

Now that the footprint is smaller I'm thinking of putting an 8way on the new tank and just plug 4 of the holes making it a 4way. For the small additional cost you have the option of adding additional ports in the future.]
