Notifications of my own posts

I like the notification e-mails. ?Hopefully (might already be in there) I'll have the option to get notifications instantly, daily, etc. although I'll personally leave all of mine on instantly. Also hopefully there isn't a new notification unless you've visited the forum, ie if 3 people make a post during the day and I don't log in until evening there is 1 e-mail, not 3. ?May already be this way but I haven't checked. And an actual issue: I'm receiving thread update notification e-mails when I make a post. ?I know I made a post.... I'm the one that made it. ?I'm all for notifications when someone else makes a post, but I'd rather not get them for my own posts. ?Would also love to get rid of the confirmation to subscribe e-mails if possible (I don't even want notification that I subscribed e-mails), they seem redundant and since there is already a "click here to unsubscribe" the list is easy enough to get off if you make a mistake.

Those are all built it in the software; but yes the reason I had them unchecked and allow members to decided is because the level of notifications; there is no forum system I know that will condensate your post activity and email it to you daily; it is a nice to have but I'm not sure of that happening. One of the DOS attacks we got was precisely on robots auto subscribing; we found a great security tool to have people validate a subscription before they get spammed with notifications and our resources over-utilized.?
