not sure what to do... help.

I have a pair of true Percula Onyx clown fish and my female is preganant. I have never delt with this before and am very interested in hoping to save as many if not all of the fry to raise to adult hood. They are hosting a tourch coral with about 7 heads on it. that coral is right above a rock the female has been scopeing out to lay her eggs but is a main formation rock of my aquascaping. what steps do I need to take to help her and the process? I have no clue what to do. any and all help would be greatly appreciated. I am going to post this in the new to hobby forum as well since this is something new to me.

Well, she'll lay the eggs without any assistance or special care.

However, raising the fry to adulthood is a long, rigorous endeavor. You have to have a plan to catch the newly hatched fry. You have to have a tank (or multiple) set up for the fry to live in. You have to have live rotifers already prepared (and live phyto for the rotifers to eat). You have to put enough food in the water so that the fry can eat without much chasing, which pollutes the water pretty fast. Expect to spend a lot of time siphoning detritus from the fry tank, and lots of water changes. You have to provide multiple feedings per day.

A good read on the subject is Joyce Wilkerson's 'Clownfish' book. The club library used to include it, you might want to check with whoever currently maintains it.
