Nori

[OK I went looking for Nori. In all the wrong places apparently. Market Street carries it. 7 sheets and a total 17 grams but they want like $6. How much should this seaweed cost anyway? And where might I find it more reasonably priced in Northeast Tarrant county?

The packaging says "Nori is the sweetest sea vegetable, and the one most easily appreciated by the western palate." I will probably miss the opportunity to confirm this.]

[You should go to the nearest "asian" marketplace. You can buy it in huge bulk style packages for very little $$. Make sure you dont buy the salted ones, even thought I dont think it would make a huge differance. I just prefer any salt in my tank be made by Oceanic :laugh long:]

[Also, make sure you get the kind for wrapping sushi. The other sheets od seaweed are for making soup and they dissolve quickly in water.]

[Got mine in the Arlington Asian market for $.95 for 10 sheets. Its off Park Place and Matlock I THINK ...cant actually remember the exact location. Hopefully soemone form Arlington will say. I looked all around Keller/S.Lake area for it in albertsons and the like and couldnt find it.When I did go to arlington o bought 5 packs to last me a good long time. If you cant get there today I read on wetwebmedia that Romine lettuce acts as a good substitute and mine had it in QT and loved it.And if ya can do that, I live near 35 and the 287 cutoff in west Keller/Ft.Worth Ill give you some :).

[Maldivan, could you be thinking of the market between Matlock Rd. and Center St. on Arkansas Ln.? That is where I got mine.]
