Ok here is another question for someone who is new that might not know but what brand of Nori do you buy at the Asian food store. I found all different brand names. Is there something to watch out for and to stay away from?

The dried is preferred but roasted is fine as well. Just make sure not to get anything seasoned.

Cheers,

Thanks Ron.......I just was not sure due to all the different brans of Nori in the store over here in Garland. I am going to run out at lunch and grab a bag so I wanted to make sure I did not get the wrong type.

fish food. It's seaweed that tangs need.

BTW Wang is the brand roasted seaweed / sushi nori I buy. Same stuff fish2morow sells in their store.

Nori is what Sushi is made out of.

I go to the Asian market over off of Shiloh and Buckingham and pick up 100 sheet packs for around 12.99. It lasts forever. I generally will break up the pack into smaller amounts.

Definately stay away from the seasoned packs. the first time I went in there, I had a hard time figuring out which one was which. I asked a person in the store and they showed me what to buy... Seems the person knew what I was going to use it for as well.
