Non Reef Ready into a Reef Ready, How hard is this?

Hey folks, I will be converting my Oscar tank into a Reef tank in the next 6 months. How difficult is it to turn a non reef ready tank into a reef ready tank.
I know I have to drill holes, but what else. I
I read another thread that explains about having treated the tank in the past, however I have not had to treat this one. I should in the clear on having to worry about ICH med. hurting my inverts.

Thanks,
Greg

Well, you have the task of drilling holes, adding bulkheads, and an internal overflow box. Other than that, no problem. Next you have to buy all the other associated things your tank will need to support a reef.

Sump, quality Protein Skimmer, heaters, quality lighting (based on the livestock you hope to keep), test kits, salt, RO water (or an RO/DI unit to make all the water you ever need), cleaning tools, pumps, powerheads, live rock, live sand, livestock, and lots of time and patience. :D
