No power here

The power went out here at midnight, and by 1 am I had my generator hooked up. Around 6:30 it ran out of gas, but has since been refilled.

Not much sleep and not fun. :(

Sorry to hear it Marc. Hang in there!

I'm trapped at the office hoping that my power doesn't go off. My return pump gets finicky at times and doesn't like to restart on it's own. I've really gotta replace that thing.

I was awakend by the backup power supplies beeping when I lost power around 2:30 or so I think, and the power came back on within an hour thou. I feel your pain.

My power has been out since 8 pm last night. Luckily this morning when I left for work the battery back up for vortechs was still running. I also put a battery powered air pump with the outlet tube stuck in the vortech for added oxygen. I just hope the temp holds out and the batteries last long enough.

here, its been lightning and thundering and pouring insanely since last night, yet i still have power/internet/cable...

my building does however back up to some low lying woods that ive never seen water in, that is now a lake slowly creeping up.

Power just went out again I don't know how long my batteries are going to hold up. Now I wish I had a generator. I may go get one if power not restored by noon.

Mines out too, went at about 6 and vortec battery didn't last even 3 hours. Quite dissapointing! Relying on battery air pumps ATM :(

the best thing for a tank is a gas powered generator and an extension cord. I think I may get me one of those small ones that will be good on gas and able to run my pumps for a long time in the event of power failure.

I was texting with renmar last night and know that she had no power around 10pm last night. Not sure if she has it back yet. This is in Frisco. I'm in Frisco as well, but had power by the time I got home a little after 11pm last night. My AquaController was responding throughout the evening, so don't think my power was out that much.

Wicked storm. One of my trees fell over - fortunately, not on the house. And one of my patio umbrellas (which was open) ended up in my neighbor's yard, scaling a 6ft fence and 8ft shrubs on its way over.

Hope everyone that doesn't have power gets it back soon!

unless you arent home :(

My tanks are fine, I don't see any power hit on the ACIII. Roof shingles in the yard, but not much else happening up north.

Power is out at the farm. We've been running a generator since last night. James has had a total of 3 hours sleep. Hopefully Argyle will get the power going again soon.

Henry,
I have a generator if you need to borrow it. If henery does not need it, i will offer to next in line. I fired it up last night before the storm just in case but never needed it. 817 229 8771

im back up thankfully...i really need to go shopping for a generator, i so wish that group buy would have worked out for one.

Thanks Jeff. Yeah I can repair shingles. I do roof repairs on the side.

I have one as well... a small portable I picked up off Woot.

Currently at Hanks, but if you need to borrow one its available. The only catch is that if my power goes out for an extended time, which hopefully it won't, I would want it returned.

Art has first dibs at this point...
