No more beer cup!

Okay, the red cup in my sump has served its purpose. I decided to make an effluent container to put in my sump. This one is just standing on the bubble trap area.

The Calcium Reactor's effluent drips/trickles into this box, and the pH probe measures the effluent constantly. That probe is connected to a controller that enables or disables the CO2 going into the reactor.

I may modify this one or make a different one later. I like this one because it can be removed for cleaning easily, but I also like the idea of having the effluent go through some phosphate removing media. I'll see if I can come up with something later for that.

Your just an acrylic junky! I liked the beer cup. Of course I'm a PVC junkie myself and I'm sure I'll do the same kind of thing out of PVC eventually

I still have the beer cup. Maybe I'll make an acrylic shadow box to hang it on the wall. :lol:
