no fuge, just floating Macro

Anything wrong with this ?


I don't have room in my sump to seclude a Fuge off in the center compartment because this is where my Skimmer sits.

However, I can get some Macro and I have a nice PC Light for the fuge so I wanted to find out if just floating Macro in the sump where the skimmer is would be beneficial at all ?

I plan to move my needle-wheel over into the drain compartment to avoid sucking Macro into the impeller.

you can put you macro in a tupper ware container and drill holes in it just find one tall enough to be higher than you water level then it wont get sucked up
 
I used a soapdish from target for a while before adding a real fuge to my RSM. It keeps the algae contained, and I had great growth, just remember to turn the cheato in the dish every few days so it is evenly lighted.

At the 99 Cents Only store near DNA, they have some great soap dishes like that for....

99 cents.... what else would it cost? :)
